London Fashion Weekend AND Beyond Retro Workshop!
Wow, what a fantastic fashion weekend The Fashion School had! On Saturday morning we collaborated with Beyond Retro (@beyondretro and www.beyondretro.com/en) to rework vintage using their old garments that had been taken off the floor because they were damaged in some way. See the post here
Then… as if Saturday’s fun wasn’t enough!! We went to London Fashion Weekend to watch their catwalk trend show! You can see from the photos how exciting everyone was – with Julien Macdonald designer goodie bags containing nail varnishes, lip balms, hair products and Elle mag proudly slung over their shoulders!
The show divided Spring Summer 2014 into four exciting summer looks, metallic, florals, lace and sportswear and we were so inspired…. we can’t wait to create our own individual SS14 looks right NOW! After we left the show, he children lapped up all of the wonderful exhibition designs and bagged complimentary Muller yoghurts, Bueno bars and free hair makeovers before catching the train home feeling jubilant but exhausted.
We run the trip twice a year – the next one will be at the end of September. Places do sell out, we only offer 12 places as we make sure we have only 2 children with 1 member of staff to make sure everyone is safe and happy!
